The goblins are living, breathing, thinking creatures. Instead of doing a 180-degree turn and showing goblins as cunning violent creatures, this show focused on showing that it’s not a black-and-white issue. But I absolutely believe Grimgar did a better job. In a way, Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash is the opposite of Goblin Slayer.īoth shows represented goblins in a more nuanced manner.
